Current Team
Principal Investigator
Angela is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and core faculty in the Mount Sinai Center of Computational Psychiatry. They are interested in how people learn from interaction with their environment, and when and how learning can lead to changes in mental health. Angela enjoys photography, hiking, travel and trying a new sport every few years.
Postdocs
Meghan is a visiting postdoctoral researcher in the lab. She studies how aging effects exploration versus exploitation using computational modeling and in vivo imaging with an interest in using models to bridge behavior across species.
Graduate students
Jing is a Ph.D. student in the lab. He is interested in studying how self-efficacy and mood interact with learning, and how mania emerges in bipolar disorders. Outside of the lab, Jing enjoys snowboarding, cooking, exploring restaurants in NYC, and walking his golden retriever at parks.
